She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert A. Scudder and Mae E. Scudder (Cook). She is survived by: her sons, J. Jonathan Hayes (Julie), Brendan Hayes and Timothy Hayes; her brother Robert A. Scudder, Jr. (Dougie); her grandchildren, Madison, Sydney, Elise, Nate, Lauren, Armand and Kale; and her former husband James Hayes.

In honor of her memory, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Cure GM1 in her memory.
