He was predeceased by: his parents, Mila Stephens (Trent) and George C. Stephens; and his brother Douglas Stephens. He is survived by: his brothers, Roger Stephens (Carole), Ralph Stephens (Karen) and Tony Stephens (Sherry). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

If so desired memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton in memory Mr. Joe D. Stephens.
