He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Sr. Lucas and Mary Pauline "Betty" Lucas (Bishop); his brothers, Emerson "Luke" Lucas, Jr., Joseph Lucas and Paul Lucas; and his sister-in-law Juanita Lucas.
He is survived by: his sister Brenda Vann (Allen); his daughter Julie Neff (Eddie); his grandchildren, Gary J. W. Neff (Shelby Clark) and Abigail Sue Ann Neff; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Jean and Emma Dale Neff; his sister-in-law Trish Lucas; his nephews, Gary Vann (Shannon), Tom Lucas and Joe Lucas; his friends, Linda Meyers, Dan Jodrey, John and Marla Gourley; and also, Alexis and Morgan. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
