He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Hendricks and Edeth Hendricks (Woodruff); his wife Norma Lee Hendricks (Rickey); his former wife Ruby Snyder-Hendricks; his siblings, Bill Hendricks, Jim Hendricks and Jeannie Fleenor; and his brother-in-law Earl Rickey.

He is survived by: his children, Vicky Hendricks and Brian Hendricks (Suzanne); his granddaughters, A. Lynn and Andrea N. Schenck; his sister-in-law Doris Rickey; and his stepson James Snyder. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
