He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Blanton and Matilda Blanton (Caldwell); and his children, Carol Faye Blanton and Lawrence Wayne Blanton. He is survived by: his wife Teresa L. Blanton (Ayers); his son James Lee Blanton of Englewood, FL; his stepsons, Scott Givens of Danville, VA and Jeremy Jordan of Spring, TX; his grandchildren, Shannon Pittman, Christina Pittman, Salina Daniels and James Michael Tolson; his stepgrandsons, Dallan and Gunner Givens; his great grandchildren, Brandon Pittman, Brianna Barthel, Jada Barthel and Kaden Graham; and his sister Jean Fortney.
