He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Viola Bright Pugh and Fred "Dude" Pugh; his wife Cheryl Ann Wells Pugh; his brother Clifford Pugh; and his nephew David Roach.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Jason Pugh (Tami) of Wellston and Lucretia Pugh (Cody Turner) of Wellston; and his siblings, Linda Kay Roach (Dave) of Columbus, Patricia Ann Dempsey of Mississippi and Frederick W. Pugh of Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
