It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Sims of Wellston, Ohio, who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard F. Collins and Opal I. Scott Collins; her husband Charles R. "Chod" Sims; her children-in-law, Sandy Sims and Tim Thornbury; her grandson Matthew Saunders; her sister Mary Lou; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Partlow and Kerroll Neal.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Sims of Ranson and Diane Thornbury of Tipp City; her grandchildren, Leslie Sims, Carrie Sims, Jeff Sims, Andrew Thornbury (Erika) and Jennifer Thornbury; and her sisters, Marilyn Neal of Fostoria, Carolyn Morgan (Virgil) of Wellston and Martha Bitonte (Joseph) of Columbus. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
