It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lawrence Atwood Sr. of Wellston, Ohio, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest E. Atwood and Pearl Marie Betts Atwood; his son Tim; his granddaughter Randi; and his son-in-law David Bobo.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Ruth Atwood (Reed); and his children, Penny Bobo of Wellston, Lawrence Atwood, Jr. (Karen) of Powell, Fran Carter (Bill) of Byer, Mike Atwood of Wellston and Melinda Petersen (Dave) of Eugene, OR. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
