She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence G. Lester and Lula May Stacey Lester; her husband James Freeland Vance; and her siblings, Eugene Lester, Thurman Lester and Thelma Horn.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gerri Grubb of Oak Hill, Lillian Elkins of Wellston, Irene Russell of Wellston, Estelle Aldridge of Jackson and Linda Kay Gillispie of Chicago; and her niece Susan Thomas of Wellston. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, including niece.
