He was predeceased by: his father Merrill E. Geer, Sr.; his former wives, Karen Geer and Jeannett Geer; his sons, Jerry Geer and Ricky Geer; his brothers, Wesley "Buster" Geer and Terry Geer; his brother-in-law John Wright; and his nieces, Wendy, Leslie and Kristi.
He is survived by: his mother Pauline R. Kisor Geer; his wife Linda Johnson Geer; his children, Jeff Geer (Sally) and Shannon Whetstone (Larry); his grandchildren, Matt Geer and Haley Geer; his stepchildren, Annie Burnem, Richard Moore and Dale Moore; his sister Billijean Wright; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Geer. He is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren and several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
