He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Arthur Detty; his grandson Justin; and his brothers, Melvin Detty and Edward Huston. He is survived by: his mother Emily Louise Queen Church; his wife Diane Sue Kessler Detty; his daughters, Deana Sue Adkins (Phillip), De De Marie Detty (Timothy Combs), Dava Louise Booth (Richard) and Daisy Mae Smith (Casey); his grandchildren, Cole (Kiara), Everett, Hannah, Waylon, Willa, Kylee, Owen, Kenden, Olive, Khloe, Timothy and Trayson; his great grandchild Reverie; his sister Lamura Ramsey; his nieces and nephews, Melanie, Alaina, Christopher and Tristin; and his aunt Phyllis King. He is also survived by several cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.
