We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2023, at the age of 90, John James Ward of Waverly, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Garnet Cutlip Ward; his sister Judy Ward; and his sons-in-law, Steve Peters and Randy Silcott.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Bauer Ward; his daughters, Jan Elliott (Peter) of Chillicothe, Joan Uhrig of Chillicothe, Jamie Peters of Waverly, Julie Ward (Dean) of Summerset and Jenny Silcott of Waverly; and his grandchildren, Alex Elliott, Dan Hocter (Sasha), John Hocter (Andrea), Shane Peters, Stacie Porter (Shawn), Steffie Eversole (Joel), Jessie, Hailie and Annie Silcott. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
