He is survived by: his significant other Marlene; his children, Michele Bronder (Steve) and Michael Schrage (Sara); his grandchildren, Lindsey Krile (Josh), Madison Bronder, Brenden and Rachael Schrage; and his sister Ruth Franzer (Dave).

The family suggests memorials to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation, the American Cancer Society, or the Toledo Humane Society.
