He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Henry Hughes, Sr. and Mollie Hughes (Landis); his great grandchild Richard Tipton; and his siblings, Eddie, Larry Hughes, Darlene Hughes, Nadine Olson, Margaret Willey and Nancy Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hughes (Ripley) of Walhonding; his daughters, Debbie Untied (Glenn) of Walhonding and Lydia Hague (Donald) of Walhonding; his grandchildren, Mandy Wolfe (Ross Long) of Killbuck and Cameron Hague (Tiffany) of Warsaw; his great grandchildren, Danny Tipton, Harold Tipton, Clarissa Mathias (Steven Raber) and Brice Hague; and his sisters, Joann Moore of Mt. Vernon, Betty Jean Olson (Ronald) of Mt. Vernon and Susie Elliot of Newcomerstown.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fischer Funeral Home (412 Main St, Warsaw, OH 43844). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
