He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Abel and Margaret Abel (Simon); his grandson Dylan; and his brother-in-law Tom Sabin. He is survived by: his children, Sean Abel (Tina) and Robin Wendt (Tom); his grandchildren, Ashley, Zack, Mackenzie, Isaac and Max; his great grandchildren, Ayden and Parker; and his siblings, Gary (Myra), Diane Nichter (Tom) and Jill Sabin.
