It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Root of Vermilion, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Richard Root; his brother Danny Root; and his nephew Daniel Root. He is survived by: his children, Crystal Kennedy (Thomas Chelmowski) of Delaware, Hannah Rinald of Corpus Christi, TX and Brian Root of Vermilion; his grandchildren, Taylor, Nick, Kylie and Angela; his mother Lucille Root of Vermilion; and his siblings, Terri Pabon (Joe) of Vermilion, Linda Zander of Vermilion, Deb Gray of Toledo and Ted Root of Dallas, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
