He is survived by: his wife Ellen Basinski of Vermilion; his sons, David Basinski (Alice) of Copley, Daniel Basinski (Amy) of Amherst, Matthew Basinski (Cathy) of Lorain, Benjamin Basinski (Carri) of Avon Lake and Michael Basinski of Elyria; his grandchildren, Alexander Peter, Caitlyn Ellen, Colin Joseph, Cassidy Lilliane, Victoria Marie, Gabrielle Bernice, Jeremy Naughton, Nicole Scout, Jack David, Addison Scout, Cayden Peter, Emma Jeanne, Grayson Edward, Michael Patrick and Hadley Marsha; and his sisters, Dorothy Brock of Omaha, NE and Marilyn Werner (Ron) of Kernersville, NC..
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to: the Naughton-Basinski Scholarship Fund at Elyria Catholic High School, Elyria; the Blessing House of Lorain; or Birthright of Lorain County.
