He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby JoAnn Johnston; his parents, Eugene Johnston and Beulah Johnston; and his sister Beatrice Johnston. He is survived by: his children, Rodney Johnston (Catherine) of Vermilion, Michael Johnston of Vermilion, Richard Johnston (Jennie), Robert Johnston (Lori) of Vermilion, Kimberly Reed (Don), Carolyn Showalter (James) of Wakeman and Linda Missig (David) of Vermilion; and his sisters, Eileen McCausland (Don) of Elderton, PA, Audrey Houston (Bob) of Shelocta, PA and Valjean Ferrier of Elderton, PA.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
