He is survived by: his wife Wanita Schafer of Vermilion; his children, Tamara Schafer of Vermilion and Troy Schafer (Stacey) of Vermilion; his grandchildren, Ayden and Alex; and his brothers, Charles Schafer (Ruth) of Vermilion and Harold Schafer of Berlin Heights.
Albert J. "Al" Schafer, 79, of Vermilion, died Monday, November 22, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Foundation after a brief illness.
