He was predeceased by: his father Douten Lovejoy; and his siblings, Madeline Tabor, Dencil Lovejoy and Mabel Cummings. He is survived by: his wife Bertie Lovejoy; his children, Virginia Perkins (Douglas, Jr.), Randall Lovejoy (Connie), Ronnie Lovejoy (Aimee) and Sheila Davis (Carl); and his sister Eunice Tudor (Dewayne). He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
