He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Szmania and Christine Szmania (Czerniak); his wife Linda Henly; and his brother Jack Rutkowski. He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy Kamenca (Paul) and Amy Szmania; his grandsons, Alex and Zachary; and his sister Roseann Hudzinski (Bernie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
