She was predeceased by: her son Darryl K. Cooper; her parents, Jessie Kidd and Mattie Kidd; and her husbands, Jesse Cooper and Eddie Toles.

She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Marlene Toles, Darlene Toles, Regina Pickett (Leroy) and Kim Toles. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
