It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn J. Muranyi of Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward T. Lennex and Helen Lennex (Good); her husband Joseph T. Muranyi Sr.; her son Joseph T. Muranyi Jr.; and her grandson Christopher Modrowski.

She is survived by: her sons, Edward Muranyi (June) and Douglas Muranyi (Patti); her daughter-in-law Deborah Muranyi; her grandchildren, Joseph T. Muranyi III, Cory J. Modrowski and Amanda Modrowski; her great grandchildren, Joseph T. Muranyi IV, Kylie, Nevaeh and Jaydin; and her siblings-in-law, Jeff Galyas, Sharon Freise and Sandy Houk.

“Marilyn had a wonderful sense of humor. On our short drives to church on Sundays, we would frequently discuss the aches and pains of growing older. One Sunday Marilyn said to me (after another "organ recital"), "Oh Lee, just wait until you get to be my age". When I said, "Marilyn, I am your age" (well - 2. years). We both burst out laughing and that became our running joke almost every Sunday. I miss her. My condolences to the family of a lovely lady. Leone (Lee) Stewart”
