Leota Gunn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2024, at the age of 98, Leota Gunn of Toledo, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leota Gunn to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Whitenburg and Elsie Whitenburg (Striggow); her husband Lauren Gunn, Sr.; and her children, Patty Gunn, Lauren "Butch" Gunn, Jr., John "Bus" Gunn and Darlene Geiser.
She is survived by: her children, Elsie Hawes (Steve), Floyd Gunn (Patti) and Lori Szmania (Bruce); and her brother Cliff Whitenburg. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family strongly suggests donations be made to Elara Hospice or to the Douglas Road Wesleyan Church.
