He was predeceased by: his parents, Alger Brummett and Georgia Brummett (Clark); his former wife Rose Brummett (Dziurda); and his siblings, Norma Sherer (Eddie), Beatrice Valdez (Manuel) and Marshall Brummett.

He is survived by: his son Steven G. Brummett; his granddaughters, Tawni Fenech (Vincent) and Amber Eubank; his sister Shirley Yeager (Robert); his fiancé Sunny Van Baaren; and his sister-in-law Pat Brummett.
