She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ley and Helen Ley (Meehan); her husband Jack Bires; her brothers-in-law, William Harber and Karl Bires (Sandy); and her grandson Michael Bires.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Zent (Ron), Mary Roberts (Barry), John A. Bires and Patrick "Mike" Bires (Vicki); and her sister-in-law Margaret Harber. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or St. Clement Church.
