He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Bissonette and Mary Margaret Bissonette (Phillips); his sister Janice Stephenson; his siblings-in-law, Carol Snyder and Dick Snyder; and his nieces, Jennifer Snyder and Karen Haas (Jerry).

He is survived by: his wife Susan Vander Ploeg; his daughter Amy Bissonette; his nieces and nephews, Shelly Jamieson (Burt), Linda Martineau (Walt), Sherri Stephenson, Kristy Kuehnl, Scott Stephenson, Greg Kuehnl and Mike Kuehnl (Melissa); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Megan Jamieson, Katherine Folino (Danny), Brittnay Martineau, Samantha Kuehnl, Andrew Jamieson (Kari) and Scott Martineau (Sara); his sister-in-law Nancy Wells; and also, Sarafina, Giorgia and Giulia Folino.

Memorial donations may be given to Caring Bridge.

“I was unaware of Dave's passing as I am in Florida for the winter. I was a close friend of Dave's for 65 years and remember the good times we had at Highland Meadows and golf trips here and overseas. In the early years we were actually neighbors. He was also a business partner with myself and Ed Jacob, He was a oood friend and a pleasure to be around. We shared many a late night in the back room of Highland Meadows and remember his jovial attitude and love of his family. Ken & Jalna MacLaren”
