She was predeceased by: her mother Bernice Simpson. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Lewis Johnson; her grandchildren, Zara, Aslan, Raya and Bryson; her siblings, Jerome Simpson (Dorothy), Leon Simpson (Doris), Celestine Gary (Wesley), James Simpson (Maria), Willie Simpson (Shirley), Otis Simpson, Lula Spruill (Willie) and Mary Swoope; and her son Bobby L. Johnson II.
