April M. Johnson Obituary

In loving memory of April M. Johnson, who passed away at the age of 46, leaving behind a legacy of boundless adventure, creativity, compassion and kindness. April was a vibrant soul whose zest for life and passion for helping others was contagious. She enjoyed spending time in nature, bare feet to the earth; conversing with the trees. Music and art festivals, and most of all spending time with her family. April's most enduring legacy perhaps was her unwavering kindness and generosity. She volunteered and partnered with many organizations in the community and founded the Light The Way Scholarship in memory of her daughter. She made an incredible impact on every person she met, and encouraged others to also leave their thumbprint on the world through random acts of kindness. She is survived by her children Jennafer Schumacher, Chase Schumacher, Isaac Dowland, and Samuel Johnson. Husband, Richard Stearns Siblings Anita Myers, Angella Lopez, Zac Lopez, Mathew Lopez, Joanna Lopez, Eric Hicks, Jeffery Wyse, Courtney Wyse, Brittany Wyse, and Kayla Wyse, and Bio mom Cindy Cramer. She was preceded in death by her daughter Angelina Johnson, Brother Devin Wyse, Mother Barbra Wyse and Father Jeffery Wyse Sr. She will live on forever in the hearts and memories of the all those who loved her, may she finally be relased from the weight she carried in this world and live on in peace in the next.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, Ohio 43611.
