With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Timothy Russell Smith (Tipp City, Ohio), born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on October 26, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Poole and Virginia Booher (Hunt); and his sons, Matthew S. Smith and Stephen "Kyle" Smith. He is survived by: his children, Timothy M. Smith and Carla M. Wirth (Jason Rayle); his pets, Squeaks and Smokey; his grandchildren, Angela R. Wirth, Jonathan T. Wirth (Danielle Barsalou) and Jace A. McGullion; his great grandchild Clair Wirth; his former wife Evelyn "Sam" Parr; his son-in-law John Wirth; and his sisters, Beverly M. Rohr and Robin L. Fort. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tim's name to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
