He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale F. Sr. Grimes and Evelyn Grimes (Harmeyer). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Turner Grimes (Hinze); his son Brett Grimes (Patty); and his stepdaughter Paige Pressel (Adams).
