He was predeceased by: his parents, Webb Smith and Lois Jean Smith (Russell). He is survived by: his wife Susie Smith of Tiffin; his children, Jeff Smith (Amanda) of Tiffin and Christy Wiser (Randy) of Tiffin; his sister Susan K. Ringle of Indiana; his grandchildren, Abigail Young (Kory), Olivia Hammond (Grant), Mitchell Smith and Jacob Smith; and his great grandchildren, Nyla Young, Brexley Young and Maxwell "Wells" Hammond.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or to The Willows in Tiffin Enrichment Program.
