She was predeceased by: her siblings, Peter, George, Paul, Verna and Pearl; and her son-in-law Mark Allan Bower.

She is survived by: her children, Jamie Smead (Mike), Perry Turner (Hennie) and Darcy Bower; her grandchildren, Ty Turner (Ashley), Emma, Sarah Turner, Meggan Poe (Brandon) and Brian Bower (Alicia); and her great grandchildren, Xander Gage Turner, Jaxxon Poe and Easton Bower.
