He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Horton and Lillian Brandow. He is survived by: his wife Karen Mackey; his children, Allison Piedmont (Jeffrey), Betsey Horton, Bobby Horton and Caroline Horton; his grandchildren, Ryan and Andrew Piedmont; and his siblings, Robert Horton, Jr. (Lori Lowrimore), William Horton (Sandra) and Nancy Horton (John Mudry).
