He was predeceased by: his mother Marguerite "Irene" Jahnke; his stepfather Norman Jahnke; and his father Peter Kovac. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Kovac-Cuckler (Robert) and Peter Kovac Jr.; and his grandchildren, John, Andrew, Aidan and Mikayla.
