He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barbetta and Rosina Barbetta. He is survived by: his wife Erin; his children, Jack Henry Blasdel and Gianna Barbetta of Brimfield; his sisters, Donna Garber (Dan) of Tallmadge and Tina Fiocca (Mike) of Tallmadge; his uncle Mike Barbetta; his mother-in-law Jacqueline Shaw-Heller (Robert); and his brother-in-law Scott Sanker (Gemma). He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to John's children in care of Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge, OH 44278.
