He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewitt Gifford Wilcox and Eleanor Emery Wilcox; and his sister Deborah (Dan Alper). He is survived by: his brother Max (Robin); his nieces and nephews, Eli (Dan Emerton), Jessica, Josh Alper (Tricia), Casey and Zachary Wilcox; and his great-nephew Gannon Emerton.

Should family or friends wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club.
