We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Joan Emily (Saunders) Silcox of Swanton, Ohio, born in Wauseon, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Verne Saunders and Pearl Saunders (Leu); her husband Jack Silcox; her siblings, Dorothea Groth and Verlin Saunders; her brothers-in-law, Robert Groth and Carroll Silcox; her son-in-law Abe Buckenmeyer; and her grandson Aaron Buckenmeyer.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Silcox (Sheree) and Jennifer Buckenmeyer; her sister Eleanor Shafter (Dave); her sisters-in-law, Elaine Saunders and Sandra Piatt (Dan); and her granddaughters, Amy Bates (Jesse) and Heather Buckenmeyer (Ben Forster). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
