She is survived by: her parents, Emilio McVey and Linda McVey (Massie); her son Daniel Desmond; and her siblings, Oscar McVey (Janice), Therese Reckley (Jay), Steve Thatcher and Jason McVey (Amy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
