Aletha G. (Vaughan) Schmidt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Aletha G. (Vaughan) Schmidt of Swanton, Ohio, who passed away on January 2, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Vaughan and Marjorie Vaughan (Clifton); her husband Robert Schmidt; and her siblings, Herbert Vaughan, Ralph Vaughan, William Vaughan, Archibold Vaughan, Vernadene Brockhoff, Geraldine Wurns and Mary Pospisil.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Schmidt (Jan), Charlotte Long (Jim), Joanne Pinkava (Jerry), Suzanne Schmidt, Robert Schmidt (Debbie) and Allen Schmidt (Ann); her brothers, Kenneth Vaughan (Debbie) and Bruce Vaughan; and her sister-in-law Mary Catherine Frederick. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
