He is survived by: his wife Diane M. Schmiesing (Zink); his children, Kimberly Kaye Kipp (Rick), Ryan J. Schmiesing (Steve Cartell) and Molly M. Bornhorst (Richard); his stepdaughters, Christi Barry (Dominick Gross) and Candice Smith; his grandchildren, Kerisha Childress (Sultan), Ashtin Cantrell (Kaleb), Collin Bornhorst (Gracen), Kamryn Bornhorst (Victoria), Andrew Barry, Justin Barry, Savannah Smith, Sierra Smith, Emerson Smith and Cohyn Smith; his great grandchildren, Liam Cantrell and Luka Cantrell; his in-laws, Barb, Denny Marchal, Gerald Schmiesing, Eunice, Mike Ernst, Bill Schmiesing, Jane, Larry Henderson, Diane, Denny Hoying, Richard, Cindy Schmiesing, Fred, Becky Schmiesing, Mark, Brenda Schmiesing, Ron Schmiesing, Kim Rienke, Pam, Tom Kerrigan, Jo Schmiesing, Gary and Karen Pleiman; and also Dani Smith. He is also survived by step-grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
