It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virden Gibson of Spencer, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Gibson and Norma Gibson; and his siblings, Marlene Gindlesperger, Robert and Gary Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Gibson (Soltis); his children, Mitchell Gibson (DeDe), Linda Obral (Mark), Shane Gibson, Robert Soltis (Tami), Sharon Motter (Mark), Leonard Soltis (Erin) and Pamela Knapp (Scott); and his grandchildren, Christina, Jillian, Tara, Lisa, Rheanna, Robert, Britany, Nicole, Erica, Brittany Alyssa, Meghan, Ashley, Linzi, Brooke and Morgan. He is also survived by Great-grandchildren.
