He was predeceased by: his father Edward Eugene Smith; his daughter Kelli Renee Smith; and his brothers, Donald Smith and Roger Smith. He is survived by: his mother Wilma Jean Neal Smith; his wife Kathryne Donnette Smith; his son David Smith; his brother Mike Smith; his granddaughter Isabella Smith; his stepchildren, Rhiannon Marie Lawrence and Carmine Anthony Bosco; and his stepgrandchildren, Thomas George Roman, Elijah Fanning, Bianka Dawn Lee, Anthony Carmine Bosco and Gianna Elisabeth Bosco.
