She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Vanderpool and Nettie Vanderpool; her husband Howard Elswick; and her grandchildren, Sarah Beth Elswick and Zachery Easter.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Easter and Arthur Elswick (Melinda); and her grandchildren, Cassie Easter, Marsha Bird, Jonathon Elswick (Stephanie) and Gregory Elswick (Amy). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
