She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bennett and Doris Bennett (Stephens); and her brother Thomas Clair. She is survived by: her husband Chester Newton; her children, John Newton, Cheryl Collins (James) and Darrell Newton (Kristen); her stepchildren, Cathy Spradling, Chester Mays and Greg Newton (Jessie); and her siblings, Gary Bennett (Martha), William Bennett (Jenny), Kathy Drake (Elbert) and Sandy Dudley (John). She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
