He was predeceased by: his spouse Anna. He is survived by: his children, Denes (Susan) and David; his grandchildren, Everett and Cameron; his nieces and nephews, Maria Bunjevac (Tony), Kati Varsics, Emery, Joseph, Agnes Jakab, Lora Giorgi (Fabrizio) and Joe Pregadio; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Katica and Jozsi Bunjevac; and his sibling-in-law Elisabeth Pregadio. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
