She is survived by: her friend Lois Ione Atkins; and her children, Cynthia D. Brown of Forestville, MD, Rev. Steven V. Atkins of Temecula, CA, Marilyn A. Francis of Washington, DC and David J. Atkins. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
