He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Parks and Georgia Parks (Hoops); his wife Madge Ellen Ley; his son James "Jim" Parks; and his siblings, Clifford Parks, Roy Parks, Evelyn Daniel and Mary M. Abney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ellen Diane Parks of Millersburg and Nancy Kick (Dave) of Lakeville; his grandchildren, Jeremy Parks (Kim) of Millersburg, Dr. Kassandra Smith (Zeke) of Greensburg, IN and Mindy Heffelfinger (Jarrod) of Lakeville; his sister Helen Franks (Charles) of New Pittsburg; and also, Leesa Blevens of Shreve, William Mullet (Tori) of Glenmont, Beth Stair (Brian) of Nashville and Lori Keim of Millersburg. He is also survived by greatgrandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews.
