He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Wessel and Mabel Wessel (Clausing); and his sister Amanda Alice Wessel. He is survived by: his wife Betty A. Wessel (Davidson); his stepchildren, Shawn Harmon of Danville, Jacky Stratton (Rob) of Hillsboro and Travis Harmon (Heather) of Buford; his stepgrandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, Bryson Harmon, Kira, Hayden Stratton, Emslee, Bristol and Briar Harmon; and his siblings, Roy Wessel (Sharlene) of Portsmouth, Delores Sue DeAtley of Minford and Annette Gifford (Perry) of Minford.
