He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lapchynski and Barbara Lapchynski (Romanik); his former wife Barbara M. Lapchynski; his brother Walter Lapchynski; his sons, Daniel and David Baker; and his grandson Christopher Hadacek.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Lapchynski (Kaufman); his children, Chuck Lapchynski (Barb), Doug Lapchynski (Maureen), Sue Reese, Deborah Williams (Robert), Dianna Case, Denise Taylor, Darla Baker and Amy Fuller; and his brothers, Lenard Lapchynski (Kathlen), Terry Lapchynski (Pam) and Kazimer Lapchynski. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
